Ruth has worked in the Employment team for over 15 years dealing with a variety of employment law matters. In her role, Ruth works alongside other members of the team, helping to draft employment documentation, as well as preparing paperwork for Tribunal claims.

Career
Ruth joined Rollits as a legal secretary in the employment group before completing a paralegal qualification specialising in employment law and working as a paralegal in the team. She is now at the end of her studies to become a Legal Executive under CILEx when she will undertake a more varied fee earner role within the team.
Expertise
Ruth has significant experience in drafting employment documentation for employers including Staff Handbooks and contracts of employment including zero hours, fixed term, seasonal and Directors Service Agreements. She also regularly prepares and reviews consultancy agreements (on behalf of service companies and individuals), and settlement agreements. Ruth also assists with tribunal work including the preparation of pleadings, tribunal bundles, taking witness statements and has appeared as an advocate at preliminary and final hearings.
