Sarah has considerable experience of helping people deal with changes in their families following a relationship breakdown. Approachable, honest and down to earth, she has worked in family law for over 12 years and is known for her plain speaking and attention to detail. A good listener, her calm and warm style gives clients the confidence that they are in safe hands.

Much of Sarah’s work involves resolving challenging family problems and she sees it as a real privilege to assist people with their family law matters and to ease their anxiety during very worrying times.

Careers

A law graduate from The University of Hull, Sarah’s legal career began when she joined a Hull firm of solicitors in 2007 as a paralegal in their property department. She moved into the family department during her Training Contract and, upon qualifying as a solicitor in 2011 she continued to work in Hull practising family law.

Expertise

A member of Resolution, Sarah deals with all issues arising on divorce and separation including financial disputes, child arrangements, and Pre and Nuptial Agreements as well as advising couples on Cohabitation and Separation Agreements.

She has previously assisted at the Citizens Advice Centre and several other local charities including the Cherry Tree Centre in Beverley and the Together Women Project in Hull.
