Lynne Webster

With over 25 years’ property law experience Lynne is very commercially minded which can help get matters through more quickly and smoothly, and often equates to earlier income for the client.

Lynne likes to work WITH clients, not ‘for’ them to achieve their goals as quickly and simply as possible. She gets great satisfaction from achieving results with minimal stress for all involved. A real “people person” many of Lynne’s repeat clients have become personal friends!

  • "Lynne has worked with me on property transactions for over 15 years and most recently handled the disposal of a commercial investment property for me effectively and efficiently. She knows how to screen out the routine parts of a transaction and just report on the issues that matter; she understands my commercial approach and reflects it accordingly when dealing with the other side of the transaction as well as with all other parties that may be involved. At the same time, I know I am in safe hands because of her extensive knowledge of the subject and her experience. Lynne keeps things uncomplicated by handling problems with confidence and without fuss. She has a very professional and conscientious approach to how she looks after her clients and always does so in a cheerful manner that makes dealing with her a pleasure. To my knowledge she is loyal to clients and inspires equal loyalty in return"

  • "Everyone needs a Lynne in their life! I have faced challenges previously and struggled to find a great solicitor, so when I was introduced to Lynne, I could not have been happier. She has been so supportive and is always ahead of the game in dealing with any potential issues. Lynne has been so proactive and supportive in dealing with a large and particularly challenging deal and I cannot recommend working with her highly enough"

    Toni Gargan - Director

Lynne trained in London and worked in the City for a couple of years, but, being a Yorkshire girl, she missed Yorkshire too much, so came back up to head up a Commercial Property department for a firm in Leeds. She worked in Leeds for over 10 years before moving over to join Rollits as an Associate in the York office in 2019. Lynne was promoted to Partner in 2022.

Lynne acts for numerous property investment and property development companies and deals with a wide range of commercial property matters including site assembly, development agreements, option agreements, overage, conditional purchase contracts, Landlord and Tenant and estate management.

Lynne also acts for high net worth private investors who invest in retail and office space and residential portfolios.
