Harriet Kingston

Solicitor

Harriet specialises in commercial litigation dealing with a broad range of general dispute resolution matters. Whatever the nature of the dispute, each matter brings with it new elements and challenges. As an extremely analytically minded individual Harriet absolutely loves problem solving, which means she is able to look at all aspects of a matter pragmatically from both a commercial and legal perspective, and consider what options are available.

Facing a dispute or litigation is overwhelming and therefore being able to provide clients with those options as to how they can move forward Harriet finds hugely rewarding.

Career

Harriet completed her BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of Hull, after which she then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law in York, and the Legal Practice Course (which she passed with Distinction) at BPP Law School in Leeds. She joined Rollits as a property paralegal in October 2017, moving to complete her period of recognised training at Rollits a year later. Following qualification in February 2021, she joined the firm’s Dispute Resolution department.

Expertise

Harriet deals with various kinds of commercial dispute resolution work including disputed debt claims, property disputes, breach of contract claims and probate disputes.
