Rollits promotes three from within

Rollits is pleased to announce the promotion of three employees as it continues to invest in talent.

The move sees David Myers, who had previously held the position of associate, promoted to a partner in the firm.

Sarah Greendale and David White also make the step up to Senior Solicitor.

The promotions mark another step forward for the trio who all joined the company as trainees.

David Myers joined Rollits in 2006 and joined the planning & development team upon qualification in 2008.  He specialises in pure planning matters such as advising on planning applications, drafting planning and infrastructure agreements and preparing and submitting, appeals and objections as well as advising on the planning elements of residential, commercial and industrial developments on behalf of landowners and developers alike. David also has extensive experience in dealing with construction projects on behalf of contractors, employers and funders, which can include the preparation of Building Contracts, Professional Team Appointments and Collateral Warranties.

Sarah and David both qualified as solicitors in 2013.

Sarah specialises in private capital and charities law.  She is involved in wills, trusts, estate administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney and in relation to charity matters, is involved in creating and registering new charities and the re-structuring and re-organisation of charities including mergers and incorporations.

David works in the commercial and IP team.  His work includes advising on commercial matters such as terms and conditions, commercial agency agreements, distribution agreements and contract manufacture arrangements, and advising on intellectual property law including copyright, designs, trademarks, patents, know-how and confidential information.

Ralph Gilbert Managing Partner at Rollits, said: "As we celebrate our 175 birthday in 2016 these promotions show how investment in young local talent pays dividends and it is great to see three former trainees progressing through the firm. They thoroughly deserve their promotions and we wish them continued success and long-standing successful careers with Rollits"
