Pat’s main role involves leading and managing the marketing function within the firm, which includes client relations, quality standards and business development. She also works closely with the partners and the senior management team to develop and implement our business strategy.
With well over three decades of experience in marketing across a variety of sectors, Pat brings both breadth and depth of experience to her role. She enjoys the variety her role offers and the ever-changing challenges of marketing in the professional services sector. In particular she has a strong interest in using digital marketing to help Rollits thrive.
A member of the firm’s SMT, Pat is a key part of the Operations and Risk Management Teams.
She says that if she were to sum up her role in a single sentence, it would be that “it’s about always looking forward”.

Having studied Graphic Design and Business Studies in Newcastle, Pat moved south to start her marketing career with the well known brand Crayola where she worked directly with the Marketing Director on all aspects of the marketing mix. Moving to work for Granada TV within their TV Rental subsidiary her next role focussed primarily on advertising and direct mail.
She relocated to the region in 1987 and joined Rollits in 1993 as their Marketing Manager. Since that time she has seen the firm go through several name changes as the brand has evolved.
Promoted to the role of Director of Marketing and Client Relations in 2010, Pat’s job is wide-ranging and very busy. Her role constantly needs to adapt to keep up with changing marketing trends and emerging technology, modern ways of working and client preferences.
Dealing with all aspects of the firm’s PR and communications strategy Pat works with lawyers at all levels to support their efforts and promote a business development-led culture within the firm. Core responsibilities include managing the front of house team, responsibility for internal and external communications across online and offline channels, CRM; website strategy, development & maintenance, branding, campaigns, events and public relations.
Pat actively participates in many community activities and is currently a Trustee and Board Member of Hull Truck Theatre and Run With It Hull. She is also a member of the HEY LEP Employment & Skills Board, and sits on the Steering Group for Humber Business Week.
