Trainee Solicitor

A law graduate from The University of Law in Leeds, Millie is currently completing her two year training contract with the firm. She previously worked in the York office as a Paralegal in the Property team, where her workload focused on a mix of social housing matters and residential sales and purchases. Millie very quickly settled into the firm and decided to apply for a training contract the same year. Having been successful, Millie’s first seat began in March 2023, and she stayed within the Property team but moved across to the Hull office to gain exposure to commercial property matters.

Millie prides herself in offering clients a friendly and committed service, always picking up the phone and working with colleagues and clients to get the job done quickly and efficiently, to make the process as stress-free as possible for the client.

Career

Millie studied Law at The University of Law Leeds, graduating with First Class Honours in 2019, and stayed on to complete her LPC at the same institution which she passed with Distinction a year later. She joined Rollits in York as a Paralegal in February 2021, and began her Period of Recognised Training with the firm in March 2023.

Expertise

Since graduating from university and joining Rollits, Millie has learned how to put her academic knowledge into practice. Millie began her journey by gaining experience in all areas of Social Housing work and acting predominantly for Registered Providers, whilst also handling residential property matters and supporting the wider team in the office.
