Rollits advise on sale of online fitness firm Pure-tec Limited

Rollits has recently advised the owners of Pure-tec Limited, an online fitness distributor, on its sale to Impex Fitness, for an undisclosed sum.

Impex Fitness is the largest distributor of home strength training equipment in the USA and has been looking to expand into Europe for the past few years.

The deal sees Impex continue to expand its operations into continental Europe, the Middle East and India and secures 20 permanent jobs in the region.

Pure-tec is already working with Amazon, Tesco, Littlewoods and House of Fraser and with the support of its new international parent company is planning to add to that portfolio.

The Rollits' team was led by Corporate Partner John Flanagan working with Jaspaul Dhesi.

Ian Lamb  of Smailes Goldie provided the accountancy advice to the Sellers on the sale.

Mr Flanagan comments: "Pure-tec has built up an impressive business and it's been a pleasure working with them on this sale and we wish Impex Fitness success with taking the business forward in the future"

Impex Fitness  was advised by Paul Berwin, at Berwins,  and by Jonathan Davis and Martin Holden from the Harrogate office of Saffery Champness.
