Rollits recently acted as lead Corporate advisors to FTSE 250 listed food producer Cranswick plc on their recent acquisition of Katsouris Brothers, a Continental and Mediterranean food products business for a consideration of £43.5m with up to £7m of additional deferred consideration.

Katsouris Brothers, a processor and multi-channel supplier of Continental and Mediterranean food products, operates from two facilities in Wembley, North London and has a workforce of about 250.

Legal advice to Cranswick was provided by a multi-disciplinary team which was led by Corporate Partner, John Flanagan supported by amongst others Donna Ashbridge and Craig Engleman (Corporate), Glenn Craft and Sophie Wheeldon (Property), Ed Heppel (Employment), and David White and James Peel (Commercial).

John Flanagan said: "We have worked with Cranswick for many years, and were delighted to work with the Cranswick team on this significant acquisition, as they continue to strengthen their existing continental products business and non-meat product categories. Cranswick is a fantastic business with great vision and we look forward to working with them on future deals."
