Over 6000 pounds raised at Devils Kitchen
Devils Kitchen York took prideof place in the York Business Week calendar with team Rollitstaking on HSBC at The Holiday Inn. A close fought battle sawboth sides delight their guests with a three course meal and greatservice.
John Lane, Douglas Oliver,Richard Stirk and Gerry Morrison toiled over a hot stove in thekitchen to prepare a delicious meal for 40 guests while AndrewDigwood, Karen Myles, Craig Engleman and David White did a sterlingjob front of house and kept the guests fed and watered throughoutthe evening.
However the real winners werethe charities supported by the competing teams: Rollits choosing toraise money for St Leonards Hospice with HSBC supporting MartinHouse. Over £6000 was raised from the generosity of thosethat attended
