Hull College student Holly secures role at Rollits

23 year old Holly Joyce, who studied at Hull College, has secured a job as an Office Assistant at Rollits LLP after completing her Business Administration and IT NVQ Level 3 early.

Hull College, which has a long standing partnership with Rollits, put Holly forward as a candidate when the job vacancy became available as she completed her NVQ Level 3 early. Holly went through the full recruitment process and impressed the interview panel so much that she was offered the job. Holly started her new job at the end of April and is fully enjoying her time working for us.

Holly explains "I chose the NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and IT course because I felt it was something that would help me in my career, it is also a course that can help me progress into higher job opportunities and it's something I enjoyed.

"Working at Rollits is extremely rewarding! I really feel like part of a team here, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I'm glad that all my hard work and determination has paid off. My tutors from the Academic Centre at Hull College have definitely helped make me the person I am today and given me the skills and qualities to succeed."

Melanie Beech, Curriculum Leader for Business at the Academic Centre in Hull College said "Holly has worked exceptionally hard this year and proves that if you put in the effort you reap the rewards. She has been an excellent ambassador for Hull College and deserves the fantastic opportunity that Rollits LLP has given her."

The praise does't stop there for Holly. Linda Cook, Office Manager at Rollits LLP said "Holly joined Rollits LLP as an Office Assistant working within the General Office team in Hull. She has settled in extremely well to her new role and the training and qualifications she has obtained from Hull College have assisted her greatly with the transition to full-time employment. We are very happy with Holly's progress so far in her new role.
