Heritage Open Day in Hull

Heritage Open Days celebrate England's fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or charge for admission, plus providing a wide range of tours, events and activities which bring to life local history and culture. The national event is coordinated by English Heritage while the event in Hull is organised by Hull Civic Society, which has been responsible for the event for over 30 years.

Hull has a commercial heritage running back 700 years. This year the event will also highlight this important aspect of the city`s history through tours, talks and exhibitions of the city`s leading and established companies.

Rollits is justly proud of its heritage and history and is delighted to have been invited to take part in this year's open day. For that reason, on Saturday 10 September from 12 - 4 pm we will be opening our office to the public and putting on an exhibition of pictures, words and artefacts highlighting our heritage and history and explaining why we like to consider ourselves "more than a law firm"

As well as Rollits, a number of other long-standing businesses (William Jacksons, Fenner and Crown Paints) will also open their doors to the public for the first time.

Please come along to Wilberforce Court on Saturday to see the exhibition of our history which we hope that you will find of interest. Refreshments will be available during the afternoon
