Heritage Open Day in Hull

Heritage Open Days celebrate England's fantasticarchitecture and culture by offering free access to properties thatare usually closed to the public or charge for admission, plusproviding a wide range of tours, events and activities which bringto life local history and culture. The national event iscoordinated by English Heritage while the event in Hull isorganised by Hull Civic Society, which has been responsible for theevent for over 30 years.

Hull has a commercial heritage running back 700 years. Thisyear the event will also highlight this important aspect of thecity`s history through tours, talks and exhibitions of the city`sleading and established companies.

Rollits is justly proud of its heritage and history and isdelighted to have been invited to take part in this year's openday. For that reason, on Saturday 10 September from 12 - 4 pm wewill be opening our office to the public and putting on anexhibition of pictures, words and artefacts highlighting ourheritage and history and explaining why we like to considerourselves "more than a law firm"

As well as Rollits, a number of other long-standingbusinesses (William Jacksons, Fenner and Crown Paints) will alsoopen their doors to the public for the firsttime.

Please come along to Wilberforce Court on Saturday to see theexhibition of our history which we hope that you will find ofinterest. Refreshments will be available during theafternoon
