  • Posted on

From Monday, 21 March 2016, the following increases will apply to civil Court fees:

  • For possession claims issued in the County Court, the fee will increase from £280 to £355;
  • For possession claims issued via the PCOL system, the fee will increase from £250 to £325;
  • For general applications made on notice within civil Court proceedings, the fee will increase from £155 to £255;
  • For applications made by consent, the Court fee will increase from £50 to £100.

The fees for applications within Insolvency proceedings are not affected by the above changes. However, the above fee increases will affect all other civil Court users and are now, immediately effective.
