Dispute Resolution

Full time experienced legal secretary required to provide full secretarial and administrative support to lawyers in the firm's dispute resolution department.

Duties include audio typing using digital dictation, administration and filing, client liaison and working to deadlines.

Competitive salary, city centre location and good working conditions in an open-plan office environment. 

Hours of work: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Excellent audio typing and IT skills are essential preferably with experience in a legal office. Experience of dispute resolution work would be an advantage but not essential.

The job also requires a meticulous eye for detail, flexibility and the aptitude to work well as part of a team.

Computer literacy with good keyboard skills are necessary, together with a sound command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling and comprehension. Software currently used by the department includes Microsoft Word and Outlook and Advanced Legal (Videss).

It is also essential that the jobholder has good interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external contacts, and has the ability to deal with matters tactfully.
