Having specialised in commercial dispute resolution since qualification as a solicitor with Rollits in 2007, Jennifer’s expertise includes the following:
Regulatory law
Jennifer is a key member of the firm’s regulatory law defence team and has substantial experience in advising clients undergoing regulatory investigation and of defending prosecutions against clients brought by a variety of enforcement authorities including Trading Standards, the Health & Safety Executive, the Environment Agency, utility providers and local planning authorities. She is an affiliate member of IOSH.
Jennifer also regularly advises clients whose advertising is being challenged by the Advertising Standards Authority.
Sale of goods and supply of services
Jennifer has significant experience of disputes arising from the sale of goods and services and contracts for consumer credit. Utilising this experience, Jennifer advises large national retailers as well as those clients that are higher up the supply chain experiencing difficulties with business to business contracts.
Partnership and shareholder disputes
Jennifer has experience of shareholder and partnership disputes and has acted in multi million pound cases dealt with in the High Court.
Business protection
Her experience in taking action on behalf of clients to protect the interests of a business from unlawful employee competition, breach of fiduciary duties, diversion of business opportunities, abuse of confidential information and breach of restrictive covenants makes Jennifer a key member of the firm’s commercial dispute resolution team.
Jennifer is also an experienced advocate appearing in both the County Court and the Magistrates’ Court.
Jennifer is the firm's Training Principal, dealing with the summer vacation scheme and applications from graduates applying for their Period of Recognised Training.
