Jordan Collinson

Trainee Solicitor

Jordan finds providing clients with solutions to legal complex matters rewarding so a career in law was an obvious choice for him. The challenges that are associated with being a lawyer enable him to grow professionally and personally and make each day diverse.

Before starting Rollits he spent six months acting as a share disposal liaison for a construction company and dealt with all legal and financial due diligence associated with their share sale.

He joined Rollits in March 2021 to undertake his Period of Recognised Training.

Career

Jordan undertook the LLB European Legal Studies undergraduate programme at the University of Hull which involved a year abroad in Bayreuth Universität focusing on European jurisprudence and codified constitutions. During his final undergraduate year he specialised in comparative law from an Anglo-Germanic perspective and produced a dissertation on Adversarial and Inquisitorial trial procedure.

He continued his studies at the University of Law with the LPC and an LL.M in Professional Practice, focussing his research report on Entrepreneurs Relief (Business Asset Disposal Relief) and legislative proposals.
