We are delighted to announce the promotion of Libby Clarkson to the position of Senior Solicitor.

Libby, a specialist planning lawyer, joined the firm in 2012 as a trainee. A key member of the firm's Planning & Development team, she works on planning and development matters including advising on planning applications, objections and planning law, buying and selling land for development, drafting infrastructure agreements and development agreements.  Libby is also part of the Education and Charities teams and advises on a variety of property and planning issues for clients in these sectors.

In her new role, Libby will use her experience gained from working closely with David Stone and Partners Mark Dixon and David Myers to further expand the firm's planning offering across Yorkshire.

Mark Dixon, head of Rollits' Property Department said "When employing graduates at the start of their career journey we always look to "recruit to retain" so its very pleasing to see talented young people like Libby who joined as a Trainee Solicitor, flourish and grow as a lawyer.  Libby  thoroughly deserves her promotion and I look forward to working with her on planning matters going forward"
