Where do you live?
What connects you to East Yorkshire?
I was born in Hull.
Tell us about your family?
I live with my fiancée Emma, who is from Salford, Manchester. I have a mum, dad, brother and grandma that all live in Hull. I also have an uncle/auntie and cousins that live near Melton Mowbray.
Why did you decide on a legal career?
I read a book called “What about law?”, which described the life of a law student and offered an insight into a legal career. I never looked back from then on.
What do you do in your job as a Solicitor?
I help people deal with all different types of property transactions, including purchasing and selling freehold property, granting or taking leases, providing support to colleagues in the corporate department on property aspects of a corporate transaction etc.
What is the best piece of advice you have received so far in your career?
Act like your target self.
What is your most treasured possession?
Is a gym membership a possession?! If not, probably my Airpods.
If you could invite three people to dinner (dead or alive) who would they be?
Tough one…Brian Keane (personal trainer/author), Paul Heaton (musician) and Ricky Gervais (actor/writer). Brian would add value to my life, Paul would provide the entertainment and Ricky would provide the laughs/wisdom.
