Training Opportunities at Rollits
The firm has a policy of regular recruitment and our standards of training are recognised as being of the highest calibre. We are proud of our reputation for turning out competent and highly motivated assistant solicitors, many of who have progressed to senior positions, including partnerships, within the firm.
We offer up to three training contracts commencing September 2010. Prospective
applicants are encouraged to apply for Work Experience within
our Work Experience Programme.
Training contracts
Trainee Solicitors spend four six-month periods working in all departments within the firm. This valuable on-the-job learning is coupled to one-to-one sessions and in-house training seminars. Trainees will spend most of their time working as part of a team, headed by a partner or senior solicitor, with the opportunity in the later stages of training to develop their own case loads.
Primarily trainee solicitors work in the Hull office, but it is likely that they will also be required to spend part of their training contract at the York office.
Pay and conditions
We pay above the Law Society's required minimum, with generous reviews subject to satisfactory progress. Our modern offices are equipped with up-to-date information technology therefore providing a great place for career development.
