Ralph Coyle has extensive experience as a commercial and corporate lawyer with particular expertise in Media Law, E-commerce, IT and Data Protection. He spent several years as Legal Director and Company Secretary of Yorkshire-Tyne Tees Television and has held similar posts with other well-known companies, including Canal+ International, CGU plc and Quaker Oats.
Ralph's recent experience includes advising on State Aid implications for the funding of a major visitor attraction, advising on the EU Procurement regime to several clients, drafting of a partnering agreement for the new Yorkshire Railway Academy, advising a major national charity on outsourcing and related IT arrangements, the production of a franchise agreement for a major finance house, terms relating to holiday package arrangements, sales, purchase and distribution and agency agreements for several substantial businesses and drafting and advice on Freedom of Information, general Internet and data protection matters.
Ralph is a director and secretary of Leeds Media Initiative, which has over 200 media business members and is a member of the shadow trust relating to the proposed regeneration of the Scarborough Museum and Gallery services.
