Neil Maidment is head of Rollits Employment Group and works out of both the firm's Hull and York offices. An employment law specialist with considerable experience of all contentious and non-contentious aspects of employment law, he regularly appears as an advocate before Employment Tribunals. Neil has experience of a wide variety of Employment Tribunal claims including those involving sex, race and disability discrimination.
Neil also advises on the employment aspects of commercial transactions including outsourcing arrangements covered by TUPE. He is regularly involved in negotiating severance arrangements and resolving disputes involving senior executives. He also assists clients develop contracts and policies and works closely with them to help solve workplace issues.
Clients range from heavy industrial concerns, Hi-Tech/IT businesses, charities and public sector employers including in higher and further education.
