Private Capital
John Lane is head of the Private Capital Department. Since qualification, he has specialised in estate planning, trust, probate and charity work with a particular emphasis on estate planning and serves as a trustee to a number of trusts.
John is Clerk to the Commissioners of Income Taxes, Ryedale Division and a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners where he serves on the Branch Committee of their Yorkshire Branch. He is also a Governor of the Silcoates Foundation in Wakefield, covering three independent schools - Silcoates School, Sunny Hill House and St Hilda's School.
John is a Council Member of the Yorkshire Law Society and a member of the Advisory Board at the College of Law, York
