Since admission David Watson has specialised in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Expertise and areas of work include heavyweight commercial disputes involving breach of contract and negligence, international arbitration disputes and property related litigation, including landlord and tenant matters involving amongst others claims for possession, breach of covenant and dilapidations.
He is a key member of the firm's Construction Law Group conducting not only litigation in both the County Court and High Court but also arbitration and adjudication claims.
David is committed to the concept of mediation as a means of resolving disputes. He is a fully qualified and accredited mediator and acts regularly in mediations as either mediator or advocate.
